There is a vacancy for the following contractual position based at Nilphamari District for the SHOW Project funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and through Plan International.
Position: Technical Coordinator - Gender; Post 1 (Female)
Job Summary: Responsible for technical support ensuring for gender equity indicator in SHOW project implementing. Support and enhance reduction of Gender Based Violence (GBV) especially on Intimate Partner (Husband) and other family member violence to prevent pre term birth prevention, also support and enhance for gender transformation issue through changing position & control over of women within family and community in project area.
Gender Equity capacity development of project staff including Field Coordinator, CHW, CSBA and other through meeting, training and orientation. Organize, facilitate and participate district level different meetings/ dialogues/event. Ensure effective advocacy and networking with relevant GOs and NGOs stakeholders and also technical support for overcoming implementation challenge as well as problem solving and referral linkages issues related IPV, CEFM, SVAW.
Essential Requirements: Masters in any discipline but Gender studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Economics and Political Science will get preference. Have at least 5 years working experience in Gender based project and good communication, advocacy and lobbying skills are required. A full valid motorcycle driving license is mandatory.
Age: Minimum 30 years.
Salary: Around Tk. 35,000 - 38,000 per month gross.
