Job Title: Executive, Business Development


Primary Responsibility

The Business Development executive is responsible for achieving channel objectives, KPIs, and targets at assigned key customers. Where directed, s/he develops new customers in a manner that will achieve short and long-term, profitable growth at the account. S/he will also need to be a contributing member of the development and management team of internal product.

Duties include

  • Work as the key interface between the customer and all relevant stakeholders
  • Properly understand the value chain of the customer segments and proactively identify new and cross-selling opportunities and closing deals by proactive networking and fact-finding
  • Prepare sales proposals and customer requirement specifications for business leads
  • Manage and penetrate customers at all levels and develop relationships with commercial and non-commercial accounts that enable achievement of plans and objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, manage, and execute business agreements with business organisations
  • Prepare and deliver effective selling presentations to ensure short term and long term business success for the organisation
  • Understand client requirements, prepare appropriate quotation to submit to client, prepare project charter to get client approval, and overall monitoring and reporting of project milestones to ensure customer centric delivery
  • Get involved in own product development process including overall planning, creating wireframe, testing, overall monitoring of milestones, and reporting to management

Requirements of the position

  • Graduate from a reputed university. Degree in Business, Marketing or IT preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Good writing skill
  • Good MS Office skills with strong grab on MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills with an ability to develop relationships at all levels with customers, representatives and personnel
  • Travel up to 50% of the time primarily within Dhaka

Key success factors

  • Previous experience in B2B Account Management will be an added advantage

  • Highly self-motivated
