The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is going to recruit a Research Fellow (regular position) who is interested to pursue an intellectually challenging career focusing on Macroeconomics, International Economics and Global Agendas for Development with special focus on public finance and aid effectiveness. The position demands academic rigour, commitment, initiative and creativity. Mid-level professionals with basic degrees in Economics and Development Studies and with exposure to global development issues are invited to apply.
The candidate should desirably have a PhD degree from a reputed university and a minimum of two (2) publications in peer-reviewed journals or chapters in books or monographs brought out by a reputed publishing house. In case of exceptional professional achievements including excellent publication record, the PhD requirement may be relaxed.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the specific responsibility of contributing to CPD's ongoing research programmes including a global study on "New Approaches to Measuring Results and Impact of International Development Finance".
A gross salary starting from Taka 66,000 per month will be offered to successful candidates, along with other admissible benefits. Actual compensation package will be offered based on assessment of the candidate's qualifications and suitability, including experience.
