Canadian University of Bangladesh is seeking applications for the postion of Lecturer, EEE

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching: conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes
  • Material preparation: prepare all academic materials including course outline, presentation, course calendar, lesson plan and other materials required for conducting classes
  • Research, creation of knowledge and professional development: performing research, creation of knowledge and their publications in reputed journal and conferences. Attend conferences, seminars, workshops and training/academic programs for professional development.
  • Examination: prepare the question papers, invigilate examinations and grade answer scripts and assignments.
  • Student consultation, advising, counseling and supervision
  • Student internship and thesis supervision: supervise project work, internship and thesis/dissertation as and when assigned.
  • Student activities: guide and supervise students for performing co-curriculum and extra-curricular activities for their ethical, moral, social and professional development.
  • University services: attend meetings as and when invited, work as faculty representative at different events and activities, provide assistance in different activities of the university.
  • Administrative and other activities: perform administrative and/or any other activities assigned by the Department or the University.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should have a Master's Degree and a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 4.0 or 1st Division/Class in every stage of education.
  • Candidates with teaching experience at tertiary level will be preferred
  • Experience interacting with a variety of audiences and cultures.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: Negotiable
